Shannon is your first call consultant when it comes to employment law, leadership development, strategy, recruitment, retention, and staff engagement. She is adept at uncovering the dynamics that drive organizations to new heights or to the brink and finding workable solutions to leverage momentum and mitigate missteps.
As a 20+ year veteran operating in leadership, strategy and human resources roles, Shannon has the uncanny ability to satisfy the needs of administration and staff. Often she can be found aligning the goals of both parties with a degree of savvy typically recognized in the most seasoned of negotiators.
Shannon has had a diverse career leading teams and HR initiatives for national organizations, a federal contractor providing service to DOE and NASA, as well as working in the non-profit/healthcare arena where she serves as a Chief Strategy Officer. She holds a Master of Science in Management & Leadership from Western Governors University. She is a certified Senior Human Resources Professional (SPHR), she is also trained in conflict resolution, mediation and graduated summa cum laude from WSU with a degree in psychology with concentrations in HR and sociology. Michael is the other half of the dynamic duo that is NovaWerx. He has always had an interest in identifying what makes people and businesses tick, discovering what they find of value and devising ways of connecting with others in a relevant manner. Michael holds an MBA from Washington State University with a graduate certificate in marketing. He also graduated summa cum laude with a degree in business administration from WSU. Michael is Leadership Tri-Cities Alumni, Class X and a Certified Destination Management Executive (CDME). A dynamic chief executive officer by day, an adjunct professor by night and a leadership coach and mentor to many. In short, Michael is a high energy visionary and a smooth operator.
